Acupuncture First Visit
What to expect
On your first visit you will need to fill out some paper work including a health history form. The forms can be downloaded here. We suggest that you fill out the forms before arriving for you appointment to save time.
When you arrive for you first appointment, we will sit with you privately and review your health history and your health concerns. We will then discuss your treatment plans and health options.
You will then move in the community treatment area and take a seat on one of the available relining chairs and receive your acupuncture treatment.
The first visit will take approximately 75 minutes. Subsequent visits will last about an hour.
What to do:
- Please download the first visit form and complete them before arriving. Else please come to you appointment 15 minutes early to complete forms.
- Wear comfortable clothing that will allow easy access to you legs (knees and below) and arms (elbows and below).
- Please eat lightly a half hour to an hour before your arriving.
- Currently we accept cash and checks.
For first acupuncture appointments only, please add $10.00 to you payment to cover paperwork.
We do not accept insurance. We will gladly provide you with a receipt acceptable to you insurance company (called a Superbill) so you may apply for reimbursements.
Note: We have a 24hour cancellation policy. Missed appointments and same day cancellations will be charged $10.00.
